Kymin Palokärki (business ID 2123109-4) handles personal information about you in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable law, so we ask you to read this privacy statement carefully.

By using our services or websites, or by contacting us, you agree to the processing of personal information about you in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, we are unlikely to be able to serve you in the best possible way.

We collect personal information about you mainly from you when you contact us and use our online store. We also collect information manually, for example by telephone in connection with customer service or sales.

For example, when you make a purchase in our online store, we need to know who you are and where you want your purchase to be delivered, as well as your contact information such as your phone number and email address. This information allows us to receive payment, process your order and deliver it to the correct address, and contact you if necessary.

In addition to the information you provide yourself, we also collect information on our website to analyze and develop the use of our cookies and to target marketing and advertising.

In addition, we collect information from public sources, such as the trade and business register, as well as from other parties that provide business decision information. 5. Who processes my data and is it passed on to third parties?

Your information is processed by our company's personnel in the performance of their duties. However, we also use third-party information systems to store and process information. In this case, we will ensure, among other things, through agreements that your information is treated confidentially and lawfully.

We provide information to enable our service partners in the IT, payment intermediation, logistics and accounting industries to provide the service. A typical situation is when you place an order in our online store. In the purchase transaction, third parties are the e-commerce software service provider, the payment intermediation service provider or the financial management system service provider, and the logistics service provider. Personal information provided in connection with an e-commerce order is stored in third-party systems through our e-commerce software.

We may also disclose the information otherwise required to fulfill our contractual obligations or as required by law or a competent authority. We may also disclose your information if we are involved in a business transaction.

6. Will my data be disclosed outside the EU?

We prefer service providers whose servers are located in the EU. However, our service providers may also use reputable and reliable external service providers whose servers are located outside the EU, in which case data will also be transferred outside the EU/EEA on a limited basis. In this case, our service providers will take care, among other things, to ensure that the confidentiality of your information is maintained and that the information is also processed lawfully in other ways.

7. How long will my personal information be stored?

We will only retain your personal information for as long as is necessary for its purpose or as required by contract or law.

We strive to update information as well as delete unnecessary information on a regular basis. We will, in principle, delete data that has not been used for more than two years, provided that there is no other reason to retain the data, for example to ensure the security of our services, or a legal basis.

Please note that, for example, the Accounting Act requires that accounting records be kept for at least six (6) years from the end of the financial year.

Your information will be stored on the servers of our service providers, which are protected in accordance with general industry practices. We ensure that the processing complies with the requirements of applicable law and with safeguards designed to prevent the accidental or unlawful destruction, removal, alteration, unauthorized disclosure or unauthorized access to personal data.

We will update the content of this Privacy Policy as our business evolves and/or due to changes in legislation, so we ask you to visit this page from time to time. You will find the most recent update date for this privacy policy at the end of this document. Significant changes to the data protection policy will be notified to data subjects in connection with the update of the terms and conditions.

Kymin Palokärki reserves the right to update these terms without prior notice. Therefore you should always read our terms before ordering.

The products are sold by Uustaas Oy / Kymin Palokärki (VAT no: FI21231094). All prices include finnish VAT. We reserve the right to changes in prices, campaigns and discounts without prior notice.

1. Ordering

The products are ordered in our webshop. Add the products in the cart and go to checkout, where you choose give the delivery address, delivery method and payment method. After the products are paid, the order is registered in Kymin Palokärki shop, and you immediately receive an order confirmation on the screen as well as an e-mail.

The shop's currency is EUR. The prices include Finnish VAT 24 % (from 1.9.2024 25,% %). You can choose the currency between Swedish krona SEK or EUR in the top menu. Regardless of chosen currency, all payments are made in EUR.

European business customers can buy products as intra-community supplies with VAT 0 %. This requires validation of the company's VAT-number at checkout. The products are sold by Uustaas Oy / Kymin Palokärki (VAT-nr: FI21231094).

We reserve the right to price changes.

2. Registering as customer

It is not obligatory to register as customer in order to buy products. If you choose to register you can view your order history. You can also choose to order our newsletter in which we occasionally inform our customers of new products or campaigns.

3. Payment methods

The payment can be made with several different payment methods, which are provided by the payment service provider Paytrail Plc. Possible payment methods are:

  • Web bank: Nordea, Osuuspankki, Danske Bank, Säästöpankki, Oma Säästöpankki, POP Pankki, Aktia, Handelsbanken, Ålandsbanken and S-Pankki
  • Card payment: Visa, Mastercard and American Express
  • Mobile payment: MobilePay, Pivo, and Apple Pay

Paytrail Plc acts as a collecting payment service provider and is an authorized Payment Institution. Paytrail Plc will be shown as the recipient on your bank or credit card statement. 4. Delivery

We offer a number of different delivery methods, from which the most suitable can be chosen at checkout. Every shipment is given a trackning number which can be used to track the parcel in the carrier's tracking site.


5. Delivery times

The orders are shipped from our warehouse in Porvoo, Finland within 2-5 days when all products are available. The carrier ships the parcel(s) to the delivery address usually in 2-10 working days depending on which country and what kind of delivery method is chosen.

If some of the ordered products are not in stock, the order waits for shipment until all products are available. The expected handling time when ordering products that are not in stock is displayed beside the product on the product page, and also on top of the checkout page.

We always notify the customer if the handling time exeeds the expected time.

6. Delivery costs

The delivery costs depend on the chosen delivery method and the weght of the delivery. The available delivery methods and delivery costs are displayed at checkout before you confirm and pay the order.


We may occasionally offer campaigns with free deliveries for some delivery methods. All methods may not free, and the possible shipping methods are restricted by the weight and contents of the order, and by the quantity of packages the order is packed in.

7. Returns, cancelling and refunds

As a private customer you have the right to return your order or a part of it within 14 days of receiving the shipment. Please note that the products must be unused and in original condition. The right to return orders does not concern corporate customers.

The customer is responsible for the return costs.

The return right does not concern products that are tailored (for instance tinted paints) or ordered especially for the customer.

If you received a broken or faulty product, we apalogize for this! Please contact our customer service as soon as possible via e-mail [email protected], or by telephone +358 10 3212860 (mon-fri 9-16, sat 10-13).

7.1 Do you want to return products?

As a private customer you have the right to return an order or a part of it within 14 days of receiving the order. The right to return does not concern corporate customers.

Please contact our customer service within 14 days of receiving the order if you want to return the order or a part of it.

Please note that the returned products must be unused and in original condition. This means that you must not open or break the sealing of the product packaging in order to test products such as colour pigments, oils or paints.

PLEASE NOTE: Products that are tailor made for the customer (for instance tinted paints) or are especially ordered for the customer are not eligible for return.

7.2 Cancelling

If we have not yet shipped or manufactured your order you can cancel the order by contacting our customer service. As a private customer you have the right to cancel your order if you already have received it.

You must always contact our customer service within 14 days of receiving if you choose to cancel the order. The right to cancel does not concern corporate customers.

PLEASE NOTE: Not collecting a delivered order from the pick up point does not count as cancelling the order. Products that are tailor made for the customer (for instance tinted paints) or are especially ordered for the customer can not be cancelled if the manufacturing has been started, or the order from the supplier has been confirmed.

7.3 The customer is responsible for the return costs

We do not offer free returns. You can return the order or a part of it at your own cost. Please note that certain products are counted as hazardrous substances, and all carriers do not accept them.

7.4 Did you receive a wrong product, or was the product faulty?

Please accept our apologies! Please contact our customer service as soon as possible so that we can agree on return and shipment of a new product. We compensate the fault by sending a new product as soon as possible. If that is not possible, we send a refund.

7.5 Was the shipment damaged?

Please accept our apologies! We strive to pack our shipments as well as possible, but occasionally they can be damaged during shipment. Always inspect the parcels at reception and demand a note on the shipping document if any damages are visible. Please contact our customer service as soon as possible so that we can agree on shipment of a new product.

7.6 Refunds

We refund returned products within 14 days of reception of the return. We return the original product and original shipment costs. If only a part of the ordered products are returned, the corresponding amount of the original delivery costs are returned. The refund is paid with the original payment method.

7.7 Return instructions

Please contact our customer service within 14 days of receiving the order if you want to return the order or a part of it. Pack the products well in order to avoid damages during shipment. Fill in the return form which can be printed via the link provided on the delivery confirmation mail. Send the form together with the returned products.
